Why a beneficial competition and for this specific cause?

I wish I did not miss a competition for a cause like this. It would mean that as a society, we have evolved. But to your question, the idea of ​​Fight Like A Woman was born after being gestated on Sissi's head for many months. And from the first moment we both are clear that it has to be beneficial and transparent, in order to make the visibility and collection that is achieved, go entirely to fight this scourge, and from which we only see the tip of the iceberg. Why specifically for this cause, it is because many women, suffer that abuse in silence, without claiming it, without raising their heads and without making it public. Either for fears, for shame or because they have no one to tell it.

 

 

Is Cross Training for women?

Crosstraining is for all people, unimportant to sex. But what this sport gives us is a very great influence on the improvement of self -esteem, of strength, both physical and mental; A safe shelter where egos stay out and we make people shown without taboos and without fears.

Why do you think it is the sport where there is more parity?

Because it is a sport where you depend on you. Within the companionship and the community that is generated, struggles against your own fears, you work to overcome each day and generate a better version.

 

What makes this competition especially? Why a Mixed Cross Training competition?

Mixed competitions do not abound, in fact, they are rather scarce. We seek equality between sexes in everything, so for us it was very natural from the beginning to be mixed. Each contributes 50% of the team.

It is the first edition of Fight Like A Woman expectations? Will it be the first of many? How did the idea arise?

Honestly, we are overwhelmed and delighted with the reception of people with the project. We are no longer talking about companies, because this goes from people. It goes from humanity. We are clear that this competition has come to stay. In our head we knew that we wanted to do something big, so our thinking has always been focused towards there. We have drawn the way, and little by little we are paving it. For us, more, much more than a competition; And we want everything we make makes sense. But we will reveal that little by little. You have many professional athletes who have confirmed their participation

 

 

Did you expect so much participation?

Obviously you dream of having the best representation and the best show, but in the end this goes from people. And we want that, from the couple that points to Open because it has been participating very little, to the most elite we can have, enjoy the event and experience, and that they leave with the same feeling of having contributed to Tomorrow, the world is a little better. But participation has been so great for the squares we contemplated, and since we did not want anyone to stop living the experience, we are preparing some face -to -face qualifiers, to also be able to enjoy that moment together.

What can we expect from this event? What surprises do the competition participants hold?

Well, we will try to make it an event, of those that people remember and draw a smile on their faces. The location, the events, the social interactions, we are trying to make any fit to be special. And yes, they will obviously suffer, because they are going to be demanding wods, but that's why we are in this sport. Stay Tuned! :)

 

 

What supposes for you the support of a brand as singular wod?

Well, for us it was a before and after. A beneficial competition means that you need to do a lot with little, to be able to donate the maximum. And that such a company would trust two people who were going to sell a beautiful idea, it has meant a lot. Synergy, collaboration, trust and tranquility

 

What does it mean for you to collaborate with an entity like in via?

With Invia a very good synergy has been generated. We are working hand in hand with the Association for the most social part of the Fight Like to Woman project, and of which we will be struggling as we close the points. But I can only reveal that that is the most beautiful part of all this. And something for which each person who has bought a shirt has registered, or has participated in any event with us, is proud to belong to this community.
